Happy Birthday Brother In Law...

I always seem to have trouble making masculine cards.  I was determined today to make a masculine looking card for my brother-in-law's birthday.  I always liked tree stamps and especially the Lovely As A Tree set from Stampin Up.  I love the mighty oak image.  I thought, this is perfect.  My brother-in-law is a very physically strong man so this suited him perfectly.  I like how the close-up almost makes the tree sparkle (perfect for him too as he has a very charismatic nature which helps him makes friends easily).  Have a great day everyone.

Springtime...

I received my selection of papers from Bluemoonscrapbooking today.  from Graphic 45's Once Upon A Springtime Collection.  Soooo sooooo  pretty.  I just had to make a little sign to remind me springtime is on its way.  I love fairies and vintagy looking paper.  I may ad a few more things to my sign, but wanted to show what I had done with the paper so far.

Forever Yours...

I had to add another cute little card (could be a tag really).  I used rub-on's (hearts) and stamped forever yours using an old stamp set (DOTS); fibres are from an old stash (Adornaments).

For my love....

Not sure if this is "the one" yet, but I sure do love the way it came out.  I think I may give this to my husband for Valentine's Day.   I used a stamp from Hero Arts (stamped with Staz On) stamped on silver paper.  All the "bling" is from Making Memories.  Of course I had to had some shimmer!

Valentines wishes....

Having a "snow day" from work today was the perfect excuse and opportunity for me to dig out my stamps and my new stash of valentines paper and give some old stamps some love.  I used Brilliance in Pearlescent Orchid for the pink card (stamp from All Night Media).  For the vintage heart I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and used Glimmer Mist  for shimmer and color (suede, viva pink and silver sugar).  I am a romantic at heart.  I can't wait to share the special card I'll be making for my husband.
