A mini album

I wanted to give my daughter Megan a sweet little mini album for her beautiful new daughter Avery.  I'm a very proud Grandma.  Avery is a sweet little baby girl; she is truly a gift from God.  

I used a Prima Flower, antique pink leaves.  I used Stampin Up chocolate chip ink for the saying, from Stampin Up - Curvy Sayings.  The paper is from DCWV.  I love creating these kinds of mini albums.  They are small enough to create for a special occasion or event.  I love creating them and giving them away.  

Three Little words....

Really felt like making a new card this morning.  I love butterflies and loved the soft romantic look of this paper from DCWV.  The stamp is from StampinUp-Three Little Words.  Ink is old olive.

A keepsake box

Hi all,

I wanted to make a special box for my daughter for this Mother's Day.  She is expecting a little girl and I wanted to make her something that she could keep small treasures in (i.e., baby bracelet, first lock of hair, etc.).  I started out with a paper mache box and painted it with acrylic paint.  Used a vintage image from The Graphics Fairy.  Trim was lace purchased at JoAnn and Prima.  Findings were from recollections.  

I used modge podge on the colored side of the image (printed from a color laser) and placed it on the painted box, waited for it to dry and then moistened the paper to reveal the image.  I stamped Treasures on the side (Tim Holtz distress inks), gave the butterfly the little girl is holding a little dab of stickles and sealed it with modge podge. Easy.  

Dream Big

I love the look of vintage cards and wanted to use some downloaded printables I purchased.  The images can be found on Beatriz Jennings Etsy.  I love visiting her blog, (Iralamija) she is so talented and I lover her style.  Trims are from Prima and Frost It Pink.  Card is Magenta.

Happy Valentines Best Friend

I really wanted to make a card for my cousin/best friend Deb.  I used the Tim Holtz bird cage die and Sizzix flower die. 

Miss You.

I wanted to make a card for a friend and let her know I missed her and our "girls days out". 

Used the Tim Holtz bird and cage die along with some Tim Holtz ink in Antique Linen and Old Photo.  Also used the Tim Holtz embossing folder (music).
