Finally! A craft room tour! My craft room is finished.

Good morning!  Wanted to share a little tour of my newly completed craft room.  In a previous post, I shared some of the construction photos, etc.  Well, it is finally complete.

I love this space and really is my happy place.  I love that I can go down to my craft room to get away and be creative, which is what I love to do.

Let me know what you think.  You can find my video here Craft Room Tour

I found the chair on Amazon Craft room chair, my cabinet where my Cricuts are stored can be found Home Decorators cabinet.  Although the description of the Home Decorators cabinet shows it as Polar White, it really is almost a lite beige, not really white.

LITTLE VINTAGE JOURNAL

I have been obsessed with making these little journals lately.  I just love the vintage look of them and they are not hard to make.  I've been using My Porch Prints for most of the ones I have been making.  I love the quality and the variety of images and kits they carry.  You can find them on Etsy here

JOURNAL NOTEBOOK, CARD & BOOKMARK

My daughter is getting married soon!  Her bridal shower was held last weekend, and I found the most beautiful paper to wrap her gifts in.  It is Martha Stewart paper, I had to buy another roll just so I would have it.  I love the gold foiling on it!  I decided to make her a few hand made items, along with a beautiful card, to go with her gifts and to remind her of this special day.  I used Cricut Acetate and Cricut gold vinyl for the card.  The flowers are foam flowers from Michaels.

ELECTRONICS BOX MAKEOVER

Wait!  Don't throw out those electronic boxes.  I just bought some new pods and I kind of liked some of the features of the box, magnetic closure, gold rimming around the box.  I thought, "I could make this into something beautiful!"

I used some paper from DCWV (Happy Day).  I just love how it turned out.  Here are the before and after pics.

Spellbinders love

I really am in love with this new Spellbinders die I purchased.  I love all the leaf elements, the wreath, etc.

I created this lovely card for a co-worker who is on leave right now for a few weeks, just to give some encouragement and let her know we are all thinking of her.

Here's a peak of the some of the elements.  I started the card by embossing with a Sizix folder.  Die cut the wreath and elements using some cardstock, etc.  Embossed "Just a Note" with some gold embossing powder and finally added some gold-toned gems to add a little sparkle.

Beautify die isn't it.

A beachy life

I just adore my grandchildren and love every opportunity to show them off.  Recently my daughter had the opportunity to have a professional photo shoot at the beach.

This photo just makes me happy!  Love their smiles, etc.

I started a mixed media canvas with a "beachy" theme to capture the venue.

I've used scrapbook paper, white gesso, patina paste (Finnibair), Tattered Angels Spray, Gelatos and chipboard words.

I love how it turned out.

Mixed Media and some cards

I am obsessed lately with mixed media, really having some fun creating some unique pieces.  I tried my first mixed media recently and, while I'm not finished with it yet, I really like it.  Also, my passion is still cardmaking, etc. and creating one of kind mini albums and boxes.

Easter Greetings

Just a little Easter greetings card this morning.  As I mentioned before, I love digital images.  I used a digital image from Iramalija's etsy shop and creme cardstock (which I put the base through en embossing folder) and tied up with some Stampin Up ribbon and finished with a pretty prima flower.

Happy Anniversary

I wanted to make a vintage look anniversary card for my Mom and Step-Dad.  My Mom loves my cards and I know she appreciates them.  I used some digital images from Iralamija.  I am obsessed with digital images lately, they are so versatile.  Love mixing the stamped with vintage also.   The ribbon is from Martha Stewart and the button is from Recollections.

Keepsake Boxes

I love creating items that have that vintage feel.  Below are two boxes that I made for two people I love and care about alot.  Inside, some perfume, a little love.  I love using digital images and Prima flowers whenever I can.
